Load Balancing is an important concept of distributing
load. Especially in the area of IT servers Server Load
Balancing is a wide spread and often used technology. It
gets applied to prevent the overstressing of units and
their aftereffects, like longer response times as well as
breakdown of the unit. This thesis deals with the
implementation of Amazon Server Load Balancing in the
Project Wikitude World Browser. The project environment of
the system gets specified first. Afterwards, a theoretical
introduction to Load Balancing is given, which gets
demonstrated on the example of the Wikitude World Browser
system. A recess into the transfer of non parallelisable
processes out of the Load Balancing is done: the applied
solution strategies and implementations get specified in
the subproject Wikitude World Browser Command & Control
Server in detail.
